    PLANT INFORMATION

The Pothos Manjula, scientifically known as Epipremnum Aureum ’Manjula’, is a vining, climbing and trailing variety of Pothos. It grows wavy, heart-shaped leaves with white, cream and green marbled and sectoral variegation.

This healthy plant arrives well-established in a 4” pot and will be longer or similar to the plant in the photos.

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE

This is a vining, trailing and climbing variety that can be pruned to maintain size or to encourage a bushier appearance. It can also be provided with a moss pole to encourage large, mature formation of its leaves.

Remember that each plant is unique, so closely monitor your plant and adjust its care based on its response. By providing the right conditions, you'll be rewarded with a stunning and healthy plant that adds a touch of tropical elegance to your indoor space.

    Light

Provide bright, indirect light for your pothos. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but its coloration will be most pronounced and attractive in moderate to bright indirect light. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves.

    Temperature

Maintain a comfortable room temperature between 60-80°F (18-27°C). Keep it away from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations. To encourage more rapid growth in your pothos, keep it at the upper end of the recommended range, or even slightly higher.

    Watering

Water the plant when the top inch or so of the soil feels dry, and be cautious not to overwater, as pothos are sensitive to soggy soil, especially in lower temperatures. Water thoroughly when needed, but ensure that the pot has proper drainage to prevent waterlogged roots.

    Soil

Use a well-draining potting mix to prevent overwatering. A mix of regular potting soil, leca, bark, perlite, and peat moss or coconut coir works well.

    Fertilization

Feed your pothos with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or eliminate fertilization during the fall and winter when growth slows down.

    Humidity

Pothos can tolerate average indoor humidity levels. However, they usually benefit from increased humidity. Misting the plant, running a humidifier or using a humidity tray can help. Pair increased humidity with increased temperature to encourage growth.

    Pruning

Trim any yellowing or dead leaves to maintain the plant's appearance and encourage new growth.

    Potting

Repot your pothos when it becomes root-bound or outgrows its current container. Repotting is best done in the spring.

    Dusting

Dust can accumulate on the leaves, hindering their ability to absorb light. Wipe the leaves gently with a damp cloth or give the plant a shower occasionally to keep it clean.

    Pests and Diseases

Keep an eye out for common houseplant pests like spider mites, thrips, aphids, and mealybugs. If you spot any pests, take action promptly with appropriate treatments.

    Rotation

To ensure even growth and avoid the plant leaning towards the light source, rotate it every couple of weeks.
